White Night Bendigo 2022
September 3, 2022 - this is the second time White Night has come to Bendigo, the previous and first visit was back in 2018. It was great to see the CBD be transformed once again.
One of my favorite things is to be able to walk on the streets without worrying about any traffic, it does allow for better compositions of the buildings.
I do enjoy shooting at night but I don’t do it very often, White Night is a great excuse to get out and do some low light photography.
Gear used
My lenses of choice were the Olympus 12-40mm 2.8 Pro and the Olympus 17mm 1.8 prime. It didn’t take long to change to the 12mm lens in order to fit more of the scene in each photograph.
I do wish the robot from the last White Night back in 2018 was around but the tiger in the park that replaced it was pretty awesome! Enjoy below a selection of images captured on the night.
I’ve put together a short video using the images above with some music. I didn’t capture any actual video on the night, not sure the GoPro would perform that well with the lighting conditions.
