Puppy Astrophotography

So I have a new puppy, his name is Theo, a Jack Russell Terrier. He is 13 weeks at the time of writing this, September 16 2021.

After a few hard nights it was clear that I was going to be up at all hours of the night. I decided to start shooting the night sky from my back yard between the hours of 2-6am. I figured since I’d be up I may as well capture the night sky at times I would be usually be asleep :)

The gallery below shows a selection of images captured from August 13 to September 2. You’ll see the Orion Nebula, the waxing Moon along with Meteors from the Perseid meteor shower and more.

Most images captured with the 7-14 2.8 pro lens with the moon and Orion Nebula captured on the 40-150mm 2.8 pro lens.

Theo is now sleeping most of the night from 11pm to 6-7am and as such Puppy Astrophotography has come to an end.
