Bendigo Gasworks Tour

The old Bendigo Gasworks site, with its rich history and industrial charm, offers a unique backdrop for a photographic tour. As you wander through the remnants of this heritage site, the juxtaposition of crumbling brick structures and overgrown vegetation tells a poignant story of the past. The rusting machinery and intricate details of the gasworks provide countless opportunities for striking compositions, capturing both the beauty and decay. The play of light across the aged surfaces creates dynamic contrasts, making it an ideal setting for photographers looking to explore the textures and narratives of bygone eras. Each corner of the site reveals a new layer of history, inviting a deeper exploration through the lens.

This was my first visit to the site, I’ve wanted to have a look around for years now and glad to have had the opportunity.
