Colour Me Rad - Deakin University / by Joel Bramley

Over the weekend I was at the recent Colour Me Rad that was held at Deakin University in Waurn Ponds, Geelong.

I did some reading about the coloured powder/dust and cameras/lenses and was a little horrified at how bad it can be. Not sure if this was the same stuff but I wasn't taking any chances. All shots were taken with my 75-300mm at closer to the 300mm and most upwind.

Few photos of one of the groups start put together in an animated gif including the one still from the top of this post.

This poor guy at the front right copped a face full of orange powder.

After the participants had finished the race there was more colour fun to be had including coloured water canons that were also posted around the course soaking runners as they passed.

13 photos shot in burst mode then made into an animated gif
