"What I love about photography is how every photo is unique, each photo cannot be replicated, it can only exist once, taken at that time, at that place." - Joel Bramley
I am a landscape photographer from Bendigo in Central Victoria, Australia.
I got my first camera in 2004 but had always had an interest in photography and the outdoors. It wasn't until 2012 that I felt I was good enough to share the images I was capturing. This is when I started my social media presence on Facebook, Google+ and Flickr with others to follow over the years including Instagram.
There is something about being in the outdoors and trying to capture that next photo that I love. I'm not always successful in capturing something great, this challenge is one that I will never tire of.
I wanted to help others learn photography so I combined my enjoyment of teaching and love of photography to create and run short workshops for beginners through to advanced. The workshops have been and are still one of the highlights of my photography journey, the more people capturing this amazing world the better.
Wanting to share more than still images I started shooting video of my exploration/hunt for the next image and share on YouTube. It is a great way to help tell the story of the photos I am capturing as well as an educational medium to illustrate what us photographers go through to "get that shot"!
I have also set up a Patreon account where I post bonus content including behind the scenes, seeing images and videos earlier and for those who become a fan, exclusive content. With support I will be able to get to more locations, capture more amazing images and share them with my fans.
Photography is my passion, my life.
